The initial plan for this site was to point out all the remarkably substandard shops nationwide. That plan got scrapped (kinda) in favor of a more positive project.

In addition to the barbershop and salon directory, FreshestLettuce.com also features one of the most ammusing news blogs in the history of western civilization. The news blog is updated daily and typically consisits of significant news, shop culture, lettuce trends, interviews and current events.

Hey, I'm Kyle, webmaster for FreshestLettuce.com. Back in 2008, The Head Lettuce Head (Nick) contacted me about making a website about lettuce. That sounded like a really stupid idea for a website, but I agreed to meet with him anyway.

Then he explained to me certain truths of the universe like "Lettuce = Hair", "Freshest = Cool", that he's a "Ninja" and I'm "Karate Kid", and I thought, "Hey, I like Karate Kid!" and haven't looked back since - but how he found out I do crane kicks in my bathrobe I will never know.
