Ever been in a situation where a close friend brings someone around that you don't know whose kinda obnoxious or maybe dangerous, then temporarily leaves you and the odd ball alone? Well thats what the summer time did when she introduced and left us with Swine Flu.

Earlier this week nurses across all 50 states began spraying the noses of men, women and children with Swine Flu err H1N1 vaccines. Maybe your potnas or aunties gave you correct information concerning the H1N1 vaccine; maybe they didn't. If you're skeptical about the information your people gave you don't sweat, cause I'll explain the basics in the following question & answer session that I had with myself. :)

Geographically speaking where is the vaccine?

Monday the vaccine became available to everyone in all 46 states and 4 commonwealths.

How much vaccine is available right now?

Only about 2.2 million doses, which isn't even enough to vaccinate Houston. Despite the low count right now Superman is gearing up to bring many more H1N1 vaccines your way very soon. Dr. Thomas Frieden---whose a big deal at the CDC---promises that eventually the supply will more than cover the demand.

 Who should get it?

If you're preggo or considering becoming preggo soon don't get the vaccine, cause it contains the live virus. If you're under 2 years you shouldn't be able to read this or be getting the vaccine.  If you're 25 - 64 and have a weak arse immune system you should get the vaccine. If you're a barber, stylist or work in health care system get it. If you are an elementary brat reading this tell your momma you need the vaccine. If you own multiple babies you also should consider getting the vaccine.

Why should you get the vaccine?

The flu is so incredibly horrible that you'll NEVER take your good health for granted again. I neglected to get my flu shot last year and of course I got the fcuking flu. I was bed ridden for nearly 5 days, achey all over and my sinuses had me feeling like crapola cola. In addition to the pain and suffering, you'll also loose money(from missing work) and fail FAIL all your mid-term exams, cause you were bedridden.

If thats not enough consider the fact that the CDC is estimating that 90,000 unluckies will get owned by the Swine Flu this winter. The regular-ass flu typically takes out 40,000 people every year.

Note: FluMist in an intranasal spray that replaced the traditional needle to the arm flu vaccine.

Double note: You can not get Swine Flu from eating bacon.
