Tuesday Rad Kutz Barbershop in Phenix City, AL closed early due to a couple guys settling their beef via gun fight. They both lost.

People don't get shot in barbershops everyday, but outside the shop folks get capped daily. Because of the aforementioned I thought it might be a good idea to share with you a helpful hint for surviving a gun shot or stab wound.

That hint is simply demand EMS workers to forgo that Spine Immobilization crap and immediately transport you to your local county hospital.

Last month John Hopkins University released data suggesting that spine immobilization could do more harm than a little bit. According to the study, spine immobilization takes too damn long and is at times unnecessary. Gun shot/stab wounds are often far from the spine making it risky to waste time strapping you to a wooden board.

John Hopkins research team checked records from 45,000 patients transported via spine immobilization to come up with their findings. According to the number crunch a gun shot victim has a 1 in 1,000 chance of benefitting from being tied to a board. Fifteen people out of 1,000 bite the big one due to minutes wasted securing ones body to that wooden board.

Note: Spine Immobilization is protocol ONLY in the state of Maryland.

Double note: How Bushwick shot his eye out.
